AN UPDATE FROM MOTHER GOOSE

Mother Goose got caught in a tail spin and neglected her blog.  PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

Now I want to update you on all the changes.  First off, I am no longer with Storyland at Roeding Park.  After ten (10) years of sharing stories with the children of the San Joaquin Valley at Storyland I am now at the Book Barn in Clovis, CA.  You can see me every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am.  The Book Barn is located on Clovis Ave at 7th Street.

Attention TEACHERS!  HASSLE FREE Field Trips!

No more expenses for the bus, driver, gas or admission fees.  Mother Goose will now come directly to your school.  She will come as a costumed character with props and music to share a story.  This can be for an individual classroom, a combination of classes or as a school assembly.  Some stories include children as characters, however, everyone participates as the story unfolds.  There is always fun and excitement along with learning.

For the 2014 Holiday Season Mother Goose will bring the "Gingerbread Boy/Baby" story to life.  This delightful story has nine (9) character parts for children to participate in.  At the end of the story, everyone receives bells to jingle as they join together in singing Jingle Bell.

In addition to the Christmas story, you can choose to have Mother Goose assist the children in painting their own ceramic gingerbread ornament.  She will then fire the ornaments in her kiln and deliver them back to the classroom so the children can wrap them as presents for their family.

For the older grade level classes, Mother Goose will come as the Ornament Elf and assist them in making a ceramic ornament for gift giving.

In addition to school functions, Mother Goose offers customized birthday parties.  Contact her for details on the different packages available.
